About

EOR Compare is an anonymous editorial collective. Between us we have run international payroll, negotiated EOR contracts, terminated employees across six jurisdictions and cleaned up after two misclassification disputes.

Why we are anonymous

Most of us still work in the industry we write about. Named authorship in this market invites pressure: approach calls from vendor marketing teams, legal letters over unflattering verdicts, and the quiet suggestion that a working relationship depends on a kinder score. Anonymity removes the lever.

It also removes a familiar excuse. You cannot take our word for it on the strength of a byline, so we have to show the work.

What is public instead

  • The full scoring methodology, including every weight and the country modifier formula.
  • The underlying data for every provider and country, with last verified and next review dates.
  • A source list on every data page, with access dates.
  • A public changelog on every provider profile.
  • Our conflict of interest rules, and the exclusion that follows from them.
  • A corrections process that records what changed and when.

If you disagree with a score, recalculate it from the published formula and tell us where we went wrong.

How we will make money

Eventually through provider subscriptions: verified profiles, labelled sponsored placements and routed quote requests. None of it is live yet, and none of it will touch a score. The rules are written down before the money arrives, on purpose. See for providers.
